The psalm poet Svein Ellingsen began to influence Norwegian psalm singing in the 70s.
Ellingsen has written hymns for the church and the world, together with music artists he has shown that hymns can be something more than we thought.
This album is a selection of Ellingsen's hymns performed by the Nordstrand Church Choir (conductor: Terje Kvam) with various instruments.
