This year Oslo Gospel Choir is celebrating its 20th anniversary by releasing the CD "En stjerne skinner i natt". It was recorded in Oslo Concert Hall in December last year, where the legendary choir gave five concerts to packed houses. This recording radiates the intimate and inspiring Christmas spirit this choir is so renowned for.

The recording offers highlights from the choir's repertoire performed at Christmas concerts across Norway over their 20 years, featuring such favourites as "Glade jul" (Holy Night), "Julekveldsvisa" (Ready for Christmas Eve), "O, helga natt" (O Holy Night), Go Tell It On The Mountain, "En stjerne skinner i natt" (A Star Is Shining Tonight), written by the choir conductor Tore W. Aas, and "Mariavise" (Mary's Song), written by Aas and Erik Hillestad.
